Storing Sex Toys

If you buy good sex toys, you need to store them right. Some toys can be destroyed by improper storage and some toys shouldn’t be brought into contact with one another. Here are some tips.

First, find out how the various materials used in the sex toys you have react to one another. For instance, silicone toys should not be touching other silicone toys when they’re in storage. Likewise, some forms of latex will melt if they’re brought into contact with leather, so be sure to keep them separated. Read up on what your toys are made of to learn more.

Second, consider the usages. Even though you clean—you should clean—all your toys before you store them, store them as if they were still dirty. For instance, anything used for anal penetration should not be stored in contact with anything used for vaginal penetration. Be sure you get all the lubricant off your toys, as well, as it might be good for one toy but destroy another toy.

If you read up on what your toys are made of, clean them well and store them somewhere safe and clean, your toys should last a very long time.
