When to Replace a Sex Toy

Sex toys are higher quality and better than they've ever been. That means that one might be around for many years, but there is a time when you do have to replace them. As long as you keep them clean, they’ll be worth every penny, but here are some other signs that you need a new sex toy.

Cracked or Flaked: If the exterior material is degrading, you need to replace the toy. Cracks and fissures can create places for bacteria and other organisms to grow and make it hard to clean the toy properly. They may also stop feeling good if they’re rough on the outside.

Battery Problems: If the battery chamber is corroded or if it’s no longer sealing tightly, get a new toy. If the adapter plug-in breaks on a plug in or chargeable toy, get a new one, unless it’s still under warranty.

Low Performance: Everything wears out after a while and a vibrator may have diminished function after being used for some years. If you’re not feeling the power, get a new one.

Good sex toys will definitely stand up to hard use, but you should make sure you are in good repair and replace them if not.
